it is bound to explode
but with this there is water
something to keep the metallic heart from reacting
love acts as water
to soothe and protect
prevent against the burning
prevent the sweltering heat from attacking
keep the heart coated in lithium submerged
down in the depths and recesses of yourself
save the explosion for another day.
